This page describes how to make suggestions,
report problems, and request help.
It also lets you access the current list of
known problems and manual errors
found in MindGate software.


Telling us all about it...

All problem reports, suggestions, and requests for help are made via E-Mail. We have used this approach so you can:

  • Describe the problem in your own way.
  • Attach files as needed.
  • Generate a traceable archive.


Critical Information

In any problem report, suggestion, or request for help, please include the following configuration information:
  • Computer model name (Performa 6360, Power PC, etc.).
  • System software version number (7.1, 7.5, 8.5, etc.).
  • Printer name (LaserWriter Pro, HP DeskWriter, etc.).
  • Printer driver used when problem occurred (LaserWriter, PSPrinter, Epson, HP, etc.).
  • Include the driver version number-- 8.2, 8.3.4, 8.4, etc.
  • Application being used to create the print (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Describe template used (attach to E-Mail if possible).
  • Error ID if one was reported (usually of form -XX:YY).
  • When did the error occur (during page setup, printing, designing, other).
  • Use words to describe the general situation.
