PrintChef's security system
allows a system manager to set up a job list, group or division list, and
a user list, and then to assign users to divisions to jobs. At print-time,
each user will then enter their password so that they can print.
|
|
User Control |
PrintChef's
security system allows you to define users. Each user can belong to one or
more groups (or divisions). In addition, you can tag a user so that the
user can print to any printer (without security). Each user can define their own password, so you can be sure that no one is illegally using your account.
|
|
Group Control |
PrintChef's
security system allows you to define groups or divisions. Each group can
control one or more jobs. In addition, you can tag a group of users so
that every user in the group can print to any printer (with or without
security).
|
|
Job Control |
PrintChef's
security system allows you to define jobs. Each job number specifies a
specific task. This job number can then be referenced at print-time and is
associated through a group to a specific user.
|
|
Printer Control |
PrintChef's
security system allows you to define which printers are not secured. A
secured printer is one that requires a password before a user can print.
An unsecured printer, like your desktop HP Printer, is one that the
security system will ignore.
