Paper Designer

The Paper Designer is part of the PrintChef suite of printing tools. With it, you can create new page sizes and new paper sizes. Pages are used to specify and control the area to which the application will print. Papers are used to specify the material that will be used by the printer.

The Paper Designer allows you to design both pages and papers by specifying their size and print boundary. A convenient overlapping layout shows the relative size of the page (white) and paper (blue). This makes it easier to imagine how a printing style layout of the pages on the paper might look.

      


Typical use of
a Page/Paper design 		The possibilities are endless since a single page design can be used for multiple paper layouts, much in the same way that letter paper can be used to print letters, accounting reports, or any other information-- the size does not dictate the use!

The pages below and the paper layouts shown are typical examples of the output possible from ANY application.
