This page is used to provide our customers with fixes and
patches to our software. These solutions are put on the
web site to solve problems quickly, but they do not
represent a new release. Permanent solutions and
new releases of software are posted
through our updates page.

You should check this page periodically to ensure your
software is up to date! If you are trying the revision and
there are problems, then please contact us immediately
so we can correct it. We want our software to work
perfectly, so we will actually listen to your report
and respond to it!

Our Update Strategy

Each download contains one-or-more files and a ReadMe file that tells you just how to install the fix, patch, or update.

We break fixes into 4 categories:

Revisions are used to test fixes and are tracked by date,
Releases are minor and are tracked as 2.50, 2.51,...,
Updates are tracked as 2.50, 2.60,..., and
Upgrades are major changes reflected in new versions 2.00, 3.00, etc.

Latest Fix

Print-time, Designer, Paper Designer, and PDF font fix:
This download contains the previous fixes and corrects print-time errors in booklet generation, page range (special case), and interlacing. This fix also corrects a copy-paste problem with groups in the Designer. It also corrects the Paper Designer from occasionally rejecting the attachment of new printers to a print recipe.

It also contains fixes to the PDF and QuarkXPress font problems on backs-only and booklet printing (read README file with the download for details). It adds some designer features, and allows you to attach PostScript feature files to a print recipe to select printer-specific features (like duplex) from a printChef print recipe.

The download contains a new copy of the PrintChef Resources and the Designer. Simply, replace the one you currently have installed.
