Collecting Multiple Print Jobs
and Playing them Back

PrintChef can collect multiple print jobs into a single print stream. This is great when you want to collect 5 chapters of book from 5 different files, or simply add a filler page to the back of a chapter to pad it out. Once collected, you have full access to PrintChef's powerful print management tools to create a booklet, multi-up, or any other print you can imagine-- and you have all those chosen features acting on the 5 chapters as if they were one print job.

PrintChef can even save the multi-job print stream to a file so that it can be reprinted later with our re:Print utility (an integral part of the complete PrintChef printing system).

Once you have 'collected' multiple prints, PrintChef shows you a print summary so you can make last minute adjustments to the print stream before printing the collection of files

With PrintChef's Print Summary, you can rotate individual files so that landscape and portrait prints can be combined in a single print, remove files from the list, or save the collection for reprinting by re:Print.

You can even engage PrintChef on the collection of files, preview the effects, and then send the files to the printer as a single job. No more wasted prints because everything was not just right...

• You can collect portrait letter files and landscape files together, and then rotate those files to align with each other.
• You can save a collection for reprinting later with re:Print.
• You can delete individual files, or remove the entire collection.
• Add PrintChef features to a collection, preview it, and then see all of PrintChef's effects before you print.
  
  

Putting it all together...

• Combine multiple-file prints into one job under perfect control for booklets, faxes, and more.
• To print a booklet from 3 different files, "Collect" the output of all 3 files and then add PrintChef effects.
• Use the image area to verify each file in the collection is in the correct orientation for the current "Page Setup", and then print.
• Or, save the collection, and then use re:Print to produce the perfect output.
